  in the congregations i have been in there are many long time dyed in the wool elders who were the sons of women of a certain age.

  yes.. mom "finds the truth" (often because a loved one died in the war, or died when she was young and she bought into the nice ladies calling to offer the resurrection hope) sometime between ww2 and vietnam.

  I know of a few former Elders and CO's. They are still very, very much still ''in'' the Borg, ''in'' with the so-called ''in'' crowd. But interestingly enough they have kind of hinted in a way of the off the chart stress they had when it comes to CA's. Interesting that they would mention that the toll it took on their blood pressure and general health due to it all. They didn't really come out and say it but they feel a lot less stressed out now when they don't have to deal with parts in CA's or Elders preparing for the CO's visit.

  2016 WT printing reduction - Figures

  the wt has been reducing it's printed output of the public wt magazine since 2012.this is how the figures breakdown:.

  month ................. wt printing each issue ............. total pages per issue ..... languagesjanuary 2012 ....... 42,182,000 .................................. 1,349,824,000 ...................... 194january 2016 ....... 58,987,000 .................................. 943,792,000 ......................... 254. during 2012 the public wt had 32 pages, so there were 1.35 billion wt pages printed for the public to read each month.1,349,824,000 pages x 12 months = 16,197,888,000 (16.2 billion) pages per year.

  by 2016 the public wt has only 16 pages and is being printed only on alternate months.943,792,000 pages x 6 times per year = 5,662,752,000 (5.7 billion pages per year).

  I agree that the 1939-1945 period of time and the beginning of the Cold War Era had a much deeper impact on Human History. Yes, arguably and very agreeably the Nuclear Age began. The 1914 time period pales in comparison to the conclusion of the ww2!!

  Saddest thing about being DFd

  i always enjoyed being kind.

  when someone genuinely needed a hand or what not, it felt good to help family or friends.. i don't really miss them anymore.

  i faded over two years ago, so they long ago shunned me.i think about them less and less and have even forgotten some names.i did enjoy some of the friendships and the association.

  A huge lot of the JW's will main ''loyal'' to the Borg, no matter what. No matter what help someone, who is df'd/da'd, can help a JW whether it be monetary or just even help moving, or shelter the JW will remain loyal at all cost and refuse ANY HELP whatsoever from a df'd/da'd person at all costs. Yes, it is sad!!

  Correlation decline JW numbers and JW broadcasting?

  i read some impressive figures here about the decline of the jw numbers in 2015.. could there be a correlation between this decline and the start of jw broadcasting?.

  hence, that there would be an negative impact because the gb is standing so nearby, you can experience the idiot reasoning of their doctrines sitting in your own living room?.

  It' just obvious the Borg has turned the page on gone the ''digital era'' of the 21st Century. The Borg is just following suit of what it's counter-religious groups have done with some of their own ''digital broadcasting''.

  Not to mention, the HUGE monetary cost saving measures of producing less, and less literature by just having the JW's tune into a broadcast.

  Needless to say, I think the Borg has turned the page on the ''digital era''. Not only has technology advanced, but I think we may see what people have said ''exponential advances'' in technological broadcasts and forms of other technology by replacing people with computers and such. It's just the beginning, to save money!!

  "the bobbed hair craze is sure to lead to baldness, sooner or later.

  the reason for this is that human hair is like a tube sealed at the free end.

  when the hair is cut, the oils which are the life of the hair become dissipated.

  Men start going bald 25-30ish due to heredity and genes.

  I also venture to guess that men go bald also due to frequent haircuts. All that cutting and pulling on your hair by the barber could possibly cause guys to bald??? Maybe perhaps??

  I heard that wearing hats,baseball caps contribute to thinning hair also. But unfortunately some guys just start thinning their hair and receding hair line late 20's just due to genes.

  On a side note, the account of Samson in the Bible. If his long hair gave him strength, then what is so bad about having long hair??? What is so wrong with long hair if it made someone robust/strong????

  Evolution and Creation—both are stories!

  there are number of nobel laureates and other great scientists in both the camps defending their respective theories of evolution and creation, which means both are just stories, and both suffer from having no eye-witnesses.

  if either of them were true, all scientists would have accepted it unanimously as they do with rest of the laws such as law of gravity..

  this does not mean that there is no god.

  Liquidation sale of RBC assets

  got this very interesting email last night and i thought i'd share it.. this is from the local rbc.. "in harmony with our new ldc form we have been asked by the branch to liquidate all current assets of used tools and materials once owned by the rbc.

  you are invited to visit the equipment trailers to acquire items being liquidated by the rbc asset team, these items will be offered on a first come bases with voluntary donation.

  if you see any item you like please be in position to take it with you at that time, after you return to your congregation then you will make a donation of cash or check in the congregation contribution box designated for the support of the worldwide work.

  It's gotta be very confusing to the rank and file. That is if they learn about the sale of all the RBC tools and everything related. That May 2014 letter about the extreme need of KH's worldwide, only to be in a massive sale of RBC assets a year-and-a-half later????? Just seems to go contrary to what every JW were to understand 18 months ago. Would not make any sense at all to me.

  Very, very confusing to the JW's if they no about this big ''sell-off'''.

  see under - "accomplice" and "complicit".. noun: accomplice - a person who knowingly helps another in a crime or wrongdoing, often as a subordinate.

  adjective: complicit - involved with others in reprehensible or illegal activity.. i'll bet there are a lot of them who are feeling exactly like this - but have no guts to do the right thing!

  I believe that there are many, many elders like this. But they don't have the conscience to do anything about it. Mainly fear of reprisal from the Borg.

  But there are elders who enjoy their position too much. It's almost shameful that the rank and file have really no clue about what the elders are hiding. The vast majority will never, never know.

  But then, maybe some day they might!! Who knows?
